Back by Popular Demand
From homelessness to the red carpet, Flo Logan’s life journey has seemed like a Hollywood story in the making.
Now, screenwriter and music recording artist Logan, who grew up in Virginia and later settled in Brevard, is set to share another tale of redemption with a big screen debut Saturday at the Premiere Oaks 10 theater in Melbourne.
The independent movie “Back by Popular Demand,” with a budget of $250,000 and produced by Logan’s Brice Productions company, was filmed on location along the Space Coast and in Orlando. It draws on a well of local talent and highlights the worlds of urban entertainment and faith communities.
Logan likens the movie to a cross between the Broadway and movie hit “Dreamgirls” and the “Left Behind” book and movie series that was wildly popular in Christian circles.
